Hello Everybody, I hope you enjoyed the overview tonight and are looking forward to a terrific course. I know I am. Please keep the following process questions in mind while doing the Drucker reading. You may want to take a few notes of ideas relating to each group of questions. This is not mandatory but may prove helpful to you. We will do some activities relating to these questions next session. Here are the questions:
- How do you think Drucker went about deriving his list of key change areas? Do you agree with the list? What could be added in or taken out?
- Drucker seems to feel a lot of our management theories are hopelessly out of date? Do you agree with this? Why or why not?
- How do these ideas apply to your own work or teaching/leadership situation? What applications do they have for your lives?
- How could these ideas be used in schools? What adjustments would be needed?
