Hello, I would like to do some filming of some of our classes. I was wondering if there might be one or two students who have a decent movie camera and would be willing to help by filming some of the sessions and posting them on youtube. I have a site already and can give you the access information if you wish to do this. Basically, it would involve shooting some video, doing a bit of editing, and posting the work to youtube each week. The videos can be used for review, plus it will be nice to have a record of what we are discussing. Later, we can use my movie camera, if needed, however right now it is being repaired.
You would write a short reflection of about a page regarding what you learned from the video taping and this would count as your application paper. I am Ok with two or possibly three students doing this as a team effort if they wish. The one page reflections would be individual, however.
Let me know as soon as you can if you are interested, and bring a movie camera to class next week, so we can tape some of the third session. Thanks, Dr. Andy
Dear Ajarn Dr. Andy,
ReplyDeleteSound interesting! I have my own VDO camera and will take to the class next Thur. If this is can help.
Best Wishes,
Jackie
Great Jackie, Thanks, Andy
ReplyDeleteI have a flip video camera which can upload the video directly to youtube, but not sure about the effect on the big screen. Could give a try next class.
ReplyDeleteKris
My pleasure! Dr. Andy.
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if Kris can give help because she is expert as an IT work.
Jackie
I'd be happy if the two of you were to work on this together. Andy
ReplyDeleteI've done some videos for my kinder classes before, but I would like to learn more about how to edit and upload it to YouTube, so may I join this video team? Shira
ReplyDeleteIf anyone can bring a small tripod, video camera would be more steady for a better quality outcome.
ReplyDeleteI think we can go to three for this group, no problem, though probably not more than three, Shira, referring to Kris' comment, do you have a tripod? Andy
ReplyDeleteSorry, I don't have a tripod. I ask my students if they have it, and they don't either. Maybe I can ask my school photographer to lend me her equipments. But can’t guarantee I’ll get it tonight.
ReplyDeleteso Shira and Jacky, on Dec. 9, will be my turn to record the class, right?
ReplyDeleteI will prepare for that, Dr. Andy.
